The Reedley City Council approved a second round of utility bill relief, this time including Streetscape District Assessments.
This current program is applicable only to licensed and eligible Reedley barbershops, salons, and other personal care service businesses, such as nail salons and massage therapy businesses, as well as indoor museums and entertainment venues, with City utility accounts.
In addition, eligible businesses that are within the Streetscape District will also have three months of Streetscape assessments credited to their account.
Gyms, fitness centers, restaurants, retail, offices, cultural centers, and places of worship are not eligible for this program.
Businesses must apply and attest that they have fully complied with State orders, and applications/requests for forgiveness must be received by end of business September 30, 2020 to be considered.
Revive Fresno County is an initiative to responsibly reopen local businesses and restaurants while prioritizing the health and well-being of both consumers and employees. The well being of the Reedley Community, both economic and physical, is of high priority for the Greater Reedley Chamber of Commerce. Because of this, we have been monitoring the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and weighing its impact.
To do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, all Reedley Chamber events have been cancelled and our office doors will remain closed until further notice. Please watch our social media for information updates and educational pieces regarding this situation.
From our farms to our shops and businesses, no corner of our city’s economy has been spared the economic impacts caused by this virus. The Chamber will continue to work with our State, County and City partners to ensure our business members and community have the best resources to weather this situation.

Named after wheat baron Thomas Law Reed, Reedley is known as "The World's Fruit Basket" because more fresh fruit is grown and shipped from here than any other place in the world! With the Kings River flowing through its center, Reedley is a vibrant city and is a popular stop for both national and international tourists visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.
“The Greater Reedley Chamber of Commerce is here to promote a positive and prosperous business climate for residents and visitors to the City of Reedley.”
